Charles Phillips is President of Oracle Corporation and a member of the Board of Directors. He joined Oracle in 2003 and is responsible for
global field operations including consulting, marketing, sales, alliances and channels, and customer programs. Prior to joining Oracle, Mr. Phillips was with Morgan Stanley & Co. Incorporated, a global investment bank. Prior to Wall Street, Mr. Phillips served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Phillips holds a BS in Computer Science from the United States Air Force Academy, an MBA from Hampton University, and a JD from New York Law School. Mr. Phillips is on the boards of Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City, The American Museum of Natural History, New York Law School, Viacom Inc., and Morgan Stanley.
Matt Trevathan is an IBM master inventor and Senior Solutions Architect with over ten years experience in the IT industry with a focus on telecommunications. He has worked on multiple projects leveraging distributed computing concepts including the design and construction of a Grid based ANT compiler and grid based ETL, and digital transcoding engines. Trevathan has experience architecting high performance clusters and virtualized environments at multiple tier one telecommunications companies and digital media companies. He worked with Google and Sprint to integrate Google’s cloud based applications into Sprint’s 4G portal. Trevathan holds a BA in Computer Science from Mercer University. He has patents or patents pending on utilitizing grid services, grid fault tolerance and grid based compilers.
Mr. Gil is the Vice President of Business Development at Cloud Sherpas. He assumes responsibility for the company's sales efforts with the goal of expanding strategic partnerships and growing revenues. Prior to founding the Company, Mr. Gil led the international expansion for Canvas Systems as the Director of Global Sales and Business Development. In just over two years, Mr. Gil grew the business from $12M to $25M. Before Canvas Systems, Mr. Gil served as a strategy manager for Brighthouse, one of Atlanta's leading marketing and sales consultancies. Mr. Gil holds an MBA from Emory University and is a veteran of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) Special Forces Unit.
